The result extracted from a BMI measurement give insight on whether the person in question is having correct weight for the height they have. A high body mass indicates excessive body fatness which may lead to obesity causing health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes type 2, and cardiovascular problems.

BMI is like a screening tool that informs if the person is overweight or underweight so that appropriate health measures can be taken. If the BMI shows too less measurements, then it indicates the risk of anemia, malnutrition, and osteoporosis. BMI score helps your dietician or doctors to track your weight and identify potential health issues that may trouble in the future.
