Behavior Marketing is a marketing tactics aimed at segmenting customers based on their online behavior and then targeting them specifically. Instead of throwing several generic ads towards the customers despite knowing most of them will be rejected, behavioral marketing consumes all the valuable usage information from browsing, cookies, IPs, and search history. All the information collected is used in segmenting the user, creating a conclusive profile and then delivering bespoke messages.

The concept of behavior marketing is applied on various other marketing strategies like remarketing, email marketing, personalized messaging, etc. Marketers often couple together several strategies with behavior marketing for greater impact of their marketing campaigns.
