Medicaid is a healthcare insurance program which offers coverage to the medical expenses of low-income group people in America which includes families, pregnant women, children, disable persons, and the elderly. The program receives fund from the state and the federal government covering millions of people in need in the United States. The state government manages the Medicaid program. Under Medicaid, the recipient is enrolled in a health plan whose monthly premium is paid by the government.
